Prana Mudra Activates the Channels of Prana....

Prana Mudra

is a hand gesture that is believed to activate the life force energy, throughout the body. It is often practiced in yoga and meditation to enhance vitality and promote overall well-being. While it may not directly cure insomnia but it can be used as part of a holistic approach to relaxation and balancing energy, which might indirectly help improve sleep quality for some people.

Here’s how to perform Prana Mudra:

  1. Gesture: Sit comfortably with your back straight. Touch the tips of your thumb, ring finger, and little finger together gently, while keeping the other two fingers (index and middle) extended but relaxed.

  2. Posture: Rest your hands comfortably on your knees or thighs, palms facing upward.

  3. Breathing: Close your eyes gently and take slow and deep breaths. Focus on your breath and allow your body to relax.

  4. Duration: Hold the Prana Mudra for at least 5-15 minutes, or longer if you prefer.

Practicing Prana Mudra regularly, combined with other relaxation techniques such as deep breathing, meditation, and maintaining a consistent sleep schedule, can contribute to better sleep.
